Just got off the phone with Alex. Guess the scene is Swede (sp?) lake out near St. Boni. Smooth glare ice. Out of St. Boni, take Nike rd. West till it goes gravel. Lake will be on the left. May want to do a Mapquest search for better directions.

Swede Lake was great yesterday with large swaths of smooth ice and big dead trees sticking out of the ice. There was three DNs, three windsurfers, and me with a kite. It's just a few miles SE of Watertown; the road goes right by it. Sounds windy today.

Today should put an end to fun at the polo field until we get more snow. Denis and I had a blast there Friday. The snow was getting thin. To keep the grass in decent shape, we should avoid that spot until we have decent snow cover.

The ice in front of my house is melting really bad right now. I'm bumming. Not sure how Swede would be holding up, it's getting windier than hell too. Might be a little sketchy with skates & a kite.
