Maui

Post by Dakotakiter »

I was wondering if anyone had any experiences to share from kiting in Maui. My wife and I are thinking a warmer climate would be nice. I know the cost of living is sky high and my family lives on the mainland, but so what. You only live once. I actually moved from the Big Island back to South Dakota for my wife and now she is the one that wants to leave. It would be nice to never check the wind forecast and just head to the beach!

To quote a friend that lives in Hawaii "South Dakota will always be there!"

Here's a sweet kite crossing. Maui to Moloka

I don't think you can go wrong if you're looking to kite out there. I got a lesson when I was out there a year ago. Amazing views, good wind, and some of the best kiters around.
