Closeout deals up to 85% off - Penny pinchers paradise

Post by MK »

Hey all, I have a dilemma and looking for feedback.

I have access to 1000's of kite sport related items. A few of my business relationships have discounts dating from 2008 to current 2012 on their inventory ranging from 20%-85% off. Since there are so many items it is overwhelming to load each in the online store. Plus the margins aren't good enough to justify hiring or investing into it.

The dilemma: how do I let viewers know of these dramatic discounts on gear?

My tentative solution: https://store.lakawa.com/product/closeo ... neil-pryde

You will notice the featured file in the link and then another file for Mystic closeout below in: "You might also be interested in..." I considered posting the files in here but this doesn't support xls. Excel is a nice feature since you can sort through all the items by size, gender, description, etc.

The primary hurdles are keeping inventory current, so I've stated this as a caviot in appropriate areas. Also, you will need to register for the download. I've considered Dropbox too since I could manage the inventory and you all could get a live current view as orders are updated. But, not everybody is on DB. The same goes for Google Docs and several other similar options. Maybe I should try Dropbox and Google Docs invites anyway?

Thoughts?

signing up for a dropbox or google docs account is not difficult and seems like a reasonable way to keep a viewable inventory list available.
