Wed...
...looking like we might have to keep the schedule flexible.
OK, Well not looking terribly windy, but any forecast these days with the word "teen" in it, is probably worth thinking about.

Re: Wed...
If its actually going to be that good (sustainable 20s) at Mille, I will definitely consider going up there. Otherwise I am saving my energy and just driving to Belaire.

Re: Wed...
The jet stream and surface winds are going to be perfectly aligned. It could be much more than 10 to 20 they are forecasting.
...I hope.

Re: Wed...
yea Fastwim im down for that alot. Belaire if it lines up
Re: Wed...
Ramping up for sure. Hard to tell if the isobars will curl around and stay south, or hit farther up the arrowhead. with humidity set to drop way off, that is a good sign for Milly. Or down here for that matter.
Re: Wed...
Looks epic for tomorow...for a local session i will be at wildwood, but waconia and Medicin Lake will be great also...
Re: Wed...
Ooooh looks good.
For da Bear, is Wildwood the best on that wind direction? I should know this, but how the heck do I find Wildwood? How is the launch there?
For Mille, what is the call?
Still need to see if I can get out of work first

Re: Wed...
Can't get to Mille but will be trying with all my might to get to WW for an hour or so in the afternoon! Wildwood's usually better if it's straight NW = better fetch, less gusty. If it's more W or WNW Bellaire is better.
MadMike - here ya go.

Re: Wed...
I'm hoping to hit Wildwood early-mid afternoon.
Re: Wed...
I am planning on heading to Mille. If Adam goes with, he would like to try Father Hennepin.

Re: Wed...
Oh yeah I forgot about Wildwood. Is the launch site any good? I recall from the last time I drove by the beach is pretty small and surrounded by docks...? Are there bathrooms or water nearby?
MadMike - Turn on ether Wildwood Beach Rd. or Ash St. Parking is next to the apartment building.
Planing to get my work done today so I can kite all day tomorrow!

Re: Wed...
Heading up to Mille early am, looking to score some shallow water rides before giong to Father in the afternoon. Never been to Hunters - would that be good for Nw and decent shallows there ? Thinking Malmo in the morning, possibly Reddy if its not to shadowed. Bring on the wind!

I plan on going to Malmo tomorrow morning. Maybe getting there around 10AM and staying as long as I can. I have had two water lessons so far and I'm hoping I can finally put everything together and take my first rides.

Re: Wed...
Rob: Hunters would be pretty good on a NW. There's a wide shallow reef a 1/2 mile out with deep water beyond. The waves stand up nice when they come on to it. Park away from the beach, carry your stuff down. Be really nice to the folks there, they got burned out on windsurfer activity there a few years ago and didn't want us back. They may be ready for another go as long as we stay out of the way of their customers. If I remember right there are less shallows near shore than at Reddy (it's been a long time since I was last there).
Re: Wed...
