Waconia Saturday

I think it looks good enough for a decent kite session at Waconia. Hope to see you there.

Did U make it out on Sat? How was the H2O temp? Went N. today to pick up the boat & ice had formed on the tarp. Brought home some wave sails 2 use on the ice. Now am in mood to go thru winter gear and get ready...or else book a flight to Maui...Got my foil in the car for some practice on the grass...Can U fly w/ your eyes closed? Hope to get 2 the point I can keep it aloft and sense its position without looking at it....Wish me LUCK :!:  :P 8) :) :D

Yes, I was the only one out there. I had a fun 17m kite session. The wind was marginal at times. I was never cold with a drysuit, 5mm booties, mitts and hood. Should still be a few water sessions left this fall.

Good luck with the foil!

I got out on WBL Saturday. Got some great rides with my 9.5. Wind was up and down, so I was only really going about half the time, but it was great to be on the water. Had some of my most relaxed, comfortable rides of the season, because the wind was so smooth.

Water temp seemed warm (warmer than the air!). I had sweats on under my dry suit, and was a little too warm. I only wore sealskin gloves (waterproof, but little insulation), and had to take a break halfway through to warm my hands back up.
