Pepin is open

Post by Barry P »

My son just drove past Lake Pepin. It is wide open. No ice.

Mille Lacs ice free!, one year ago today.

According to http://www.mnlakecams.com/ , 2010 ice out was April 5th, and 2009 ice out was April 24th.

Anyone on Pepin today?

Where do you launch from when you go to Pepin?

If it's windy, I'll go Saturday Dr. Smith. Are you seeing something in your crystal ball?

Where you launch from depends on the wind direction...there are a few. I'll post a map of those spots tonight at work.
