Is anyone have had a chance to kite surfing in Los Angels area ? which beach would be the best one ? Thanks !

Belmont Shore is the most popular spot in the LA basin. Outside of the summer months, the winds are not very consistent. You'll have a much better experience if you drive north -- to C Street in Ventura, or even further north Jalama or Pismo.

Jalama is one of my favorite beaches anywhere. It's 160 miles from LA, but it might as well be 1000 miles:

Here's a video of me at Jalama last summer -- completely lit on a 7m kite, in 35 - 45 mph winds.
