Nice Nov. Kiting Days at da Bear

Post by Kevinousdigian »

The last two days have been super at Wildwood on White Bear! Bright sunshine and plenty of ramps for boosting with the winds in the 20s. :D :D Two days in a row in November is a treat!
Today we had a good lunchtime crowd out there - fun to share the water with Barry, Mike, Geoff, and Arthur.

Looks like Sat, and Mon - Wed could all deliver kiteable wind with warmer S and SE winds on Sat and Mon and then turning SW - W Tues-Wed (colder).

Saturday looks a bit stronger to the south, might be worth a roadtrip to Clear Lake

The great nov winds just keep cranking. Today came up quickly with winds making the sand blow at ramsey beach. We had nice updrafts again for some great hang time.

Over 10 kites out on a weekend in mid November with temps in mid 60s - incredible. Tomorrow could make 7 of 11 days being kite able here in nov.

I agree Kevin.. that was a blast. Some of us arrived early to flat water and it was looking a little sketchy but it filled in nicely. An unexpected treat..
