How do you see it shaping up for Thursday Stroh. Winds look good but what about the rain etc. Trying to decide if I should head up.

Batten down the hatches boys. it's here!
Had a powered 7mtr ride for an hour before dark last nite.
Waves were already 4'+ and building.
Hope it's not too wild this afternoon but gotta check it out anyway.

Looks like we have a window between now (7:00 AM) and late morning with not too much rain and storms. I'm heading out right now to Park Point. Yummy!

Sounds good, I'm gonna be there about 9:00. After coffee, eggs, oatmeal, and a six pack of ibuprofen for the aches I know are comin'

I am guessing it wont rain to hard on park point... probably just drizzle the whole time with a few spurts of rain!

I just got a look at the lake on my lunchbreak... it's looking good! :P

ETA 5:00 pm unless I decide to skip some school (probably not a good idea)

Well, I hope people took more pictures, I just snapped a few from the bridge before going out...

But I DID snap a mast, and put my head through my sail. But that's not because of the conditions, that's just the kind of sailor I am

Head through the sail? Ouch! Hope you're ok.

It was pretty intense up there today. It was fun! The waves looked bigger than on Labor Day. The picture of Reds sums it up I think. I only took pics from the shore on Labor Day at Park Point, so I decided to try getting some shots from the water today. It wasn't my most successful shoot (mostly I was beat up by the waves and current) but I did get a few photos that I like and it was a good learning experience. Here are a few of the shots. I'll post more later.
