Looking for any recommendations for where to kite Tues PM.
I live in St. Cloud and am thinking about Hunters point Mille Lacs vs south shore of Lake Washington (closer). I have not sailed Washington and have only been to Reddy/North shore on Mille. My skill level - able to self launch, stay up wind, working on transitions/turns. I have 9 and 13 meter kites.
Wind is suppose to be WNW to NW.
Any info or suggestions would be helpful.
Thanks

sorry you didn't get any guidance here. I thought today was Monday and I could respond tonight for ya, oops.
West or NW work great at Malmo on Mille Lacs. NW is also good at Father Hennepin on Mille lacs but the launch is a bit tricky. Waconia is great NW and West as well. If it's west the Dassel Gun club on Washington is great. NW on Washington is best from the Elseworth Launch.
Hope that helps.

Hey dude, sorry I had already left town for malmo by the time you posted. so yes, Malmo would work. I've been to hunters point as well on a Northwest and it was pretty good for beginner, except alot of rocks and boulders the first 30 feet walking out from shore. If you live in saint cloud I would highly recommend Washington as well as Mille Lacs. I live in saint cloud as well and those are the two lakes I ride 90% of the year. Washington is shallow and you can walk way out. give me a holler next time its looking windy I'll let you know where i'm going to be riding. Three Twenty four Twenty 2999.
