Two big days of wind on a weekend, how sweet is that.

What a spring! Anyone keeping track of ridable days so far?

Powered on my 7 all day yesterday. Powered on the 9 all day today. What a great couple of days. 9 hours of kiting in two days. I wanted to do a sunset session tonight. But was to weak to put my harness on and everyone else had gone home. Wind was still up at sunset and the sun was out. I could not believe everyone had gone home. Time to attack the fridge.

Sorry I couldn't forecast these big winds today... I did go to Malmo and we had a blast up there. The wind was well into the 20s and steady as usual. That coupled with the port ramps made for an awesome day. My adrenaline is still buzzing!!

I've got 10 sessions in so far, not bad for May 2.

Look out - Tuesday will be some warm kiteable south breezes and Wednesday should be another windy day from SW-W going W. The 10 day mrf has been showing wind for Wed for 4 days and now NOAA is forecasting it too and if you look at 72 hr exp you see big orange stuff in Dakotas. Rest up!

I'm at 4 days of riding so far: 2 in WBL and 2 Waconia. I had heard the water was warmer in Waconia. With the howling winds and lower 60 degree temps I don't agree, they seem about the same, cold - but I'm a pansy.

Fun ramping off the face of waves yesterday. I think we were all pooped Tom. But you are right, there was wind to ride. I'll make it a point to hang with you next time.

It has been a great season for sure! I think I have been out 20-25 times since the water opened up, with probably 6-8 days in smooth and steady North Easterly winds. I have been out most of the ride-able days only missing a few… it seems like we have had wind at least 3 or 4 days out of every week here in Duluth!

Looks like today is going to be another good one!

Tom..I watched you towards the end of the day and was entertained by the power in your jumps. You were lit on the 9. I am only up to 4 sessions excluding Padre. Go team!

Went out to Washington yesterday Kelly scored her first sesh of the season and was ripping on her 9. It was my 3rd of the year after 2 on the Bear this past week. I've been having a blast. Kelly and I should be nice and strong for Hatteras in 2 weeks. See you on the water.

I will be sailing from Bellaire both days. :D I wish I could make the Malmo trek but have to work. :( This weekend if it blows I may make it to Milly late since I will be at BIR for CRA's motorcycle races.

Saturday (that was like 4 windy days ago now) WAS fun. I had my kite out pretty early and was not comfortable, so pulled it down after less than an hour to Windsurf, which was great for a while.
Checked the winds later and basically, it was in the range of 18-40 when I was out...no wonder I felt like a puppet.

Looked like today might have been steadier, but maybe on the high side (for a 9 anyway!). Sounds like Diego good it good at Waconia.
