Slingshot Link question???

Post by Stroh »

Wondering if anybody knows where a can find a “Red bridle” for a 9m Link?

If not… I wouldn’t have a problem making one myself, but I would need some measurements?

Any help will be much appreciated!

How much did the red bridle actually help? My thinking is that it is more of an issue with the profile of the kite and no bridal is going to stop it from wanting to turn inside out!

Thanks

I have the 9 (and 12) and use the red bridle, I havent had mine turn inside out for a long time, I pump them up rock hard, then some more. they seem to fly better for me that way .I only really flew the 9 with 5 lines one time, I got them in the winter and put the bridles on for relaunch ease on the snow. the bridles are long, really long. you can look at mine sometime if you want to measure them. I also got a replacement set from slingshot for my 12 as the origanal red bridle I got with the kite was a mismash of wrong parts. maybe they still have a extra set, or at least they will have the measurements for you

Loved the 10.5m Link. The red bridle helped a lot...if the black bridle was one of the bad ones, otherwise you won't see a change. They just replaced all of the black ones instead of trying to track down the miss manufactured black ones.

Contact the Rider's service hotline at Slingshot (Chris Schey). He may be able to help.
