Planning on checking out Waconia tomorrow for kite.

I was going to try Waconia but decided on WBL instead. Got there about 12:30 or 1:00 and was on the water for about 10 minutes when the wind started getting weird and I thought I'd better head to shore, just in time too because it started to rain like crazy. I was standing on the beach contemplating a session in the rain when a huge lightning bolt changed my mind. It's funny you didn't get the storms at Waconia. Glad you got a session. Maybe tomorrow.

It is looking really good right now. I'll be at the DNR launch in about 30 Minutes, pumping for the forst water sessions of the year (in MN that is )

I love living up by the mother, we've had open water since mid March.
Although the city crew gets flatter water, and different options. Up here its like NW or nothin
