Anyone going out on Minnetonka after lunch time today? Thinking of heading out there and would like to kite with others. Any suggestions on where to go? I have seen quite a few out off of 15 & 51 newar winward marine in front of Irwin Jacobs' house. Snow anygood there or better/worse in wayzata, elsewhere?

I am heading out to the sailors world spot this afternoon. Should be good for todays wind direction. The snow is good in that bay. It is also good in Lafayette bay. Between Kite island and big island in most open part of main lower lake it is blown off down to the ice. It can be crossed with sharp skis but it is a very fast ride. So until we get more snow I am sticking to Smiths and Lafayette bay. Packing to head over as soon as I log off.
