Cannon was a real treat today. Great snow, winds 15-25, sun, good company. Nice to park on the ice and rig next to you vehicle. too easy. Sophia and I had a blast.
Mike and Chad got quite a crew riding and having fun.
There were quite a few huge fields on the way down that were completely covered. Quite a bit of rolling terrain. Gotta hit that.

Glad you guys all had fun down south, couldn't make the drive, one car and the wife wouldn't make up her mind about the afternoon. Decided to keep it local and buzzed up to Mahtomedi. When I arrived there were zero kites in the sky. I should have taken this as a sign and went home, but I pumped up and couldn't keep the kite in the sky for more than 20 ft ride. BOO. On the positive side there was some nice powder out there and the warmer temps have softened up the base so if the wind was blowing it would have been a good ride.
