WE'VE GOT ICE!!!!!!!!!!!

checked out rice lake after school today. the whole lake is covered... I walked on the edge, there looks to be about 1.5-2 inches on the shore. there is a thin coat of white stuf (less than a 1/2 inch) that looks to be bonding... could provide an edgable surface

should be enough ice by sunday or monday provided we don't get any snow. I plan to check agin tomorow.

Just got off the ice on Pelican Lake from west side bay public access. I was on skates and small foil. Going back now to meet Peter with the FreeSkate. Pelican Lake is located just NE of city of Buffalo. 1.5 inches of ice.

brian and I scored a sesh on rice lake today. there was 3-4 inches of ice.
the snow seems to be fairly bonded with 90% coverage... most is very very thin snow but the deep spots are about 1.5 inches

we rode skates but I think it would have been beter on a sharp pair of skis.

I will probabily hit it agin tomorow after school ~1:00pm

WHAT, there was wind up there today? could you use a board? I might have to head up wednesday! Theres atleast 3 inches of snow here in lake nebagamon.

4 of us went on the marshes by ventura, iowa just west of clear lake, light wind but good enough for first time. last Sunday we were kiting on the gulf of Mexico one week later on the ICE in Iowa!!!
