Thanksgiving dinner at SPI

Post by rookie »

I would like to propose having a group thanksgiving dinner and possibly a bon fire for thanksgiving. Nothing will be like the awesome dinner of 07. Or if someone has some other ideas…….

I talked with Cathy at Palm st Pier, and she would love to have us. They expanded there dock to seat more people, and will have music going on then. She also gave us a great group price. I think it’s a no brainier. Cathy gave us two options, which I listed below. I think we should go for the buffet. I think it would be hard to know the exact number of people that would want to participate in the family style dinner. And every one would have to show up at the same time. I can find out about kid prices, and they also will have there menu items as well.

She would like to know how many to reserve for? Would the buffet be ok? Is 6:30 ok?

Hi Gary,
Nice talking to you yesterday, I just sat down and figured out a few things to present to you.
#1 family Style
2 Tables seating 10 each
On Each Table
1 14 lb Turkey
Mashed Potatoes
Gravy
Stuffing
Rolls
Green Bean Casserole
Fruit Salad
Deviled Eggs
A Pie Assortment for Dessert
Total Bill all together $150.00 plus tax and tip
($7.50 each)

#2
Buffet with same items
normally $15.95
can offer it to you for senior price less 10%
$12.55
and include a soft drink free

I think option #1 has more home syle charm.
let me know and I will reserve a time and spot for you all.
thanks

Given thanks to a beautiful turkey day down In Padre. Wind all day, with Loopie (seth ) entertaining us with his kite loop attempts GO LOOPIE!!. Bryce and Dennis going off, Incredible! We had a table for 29 Minnesota , Wisconsin friends and a few from California with laughter and margaritas to an awesome buffet dinner. And a bon fire tonight at 8 @ at beach exit 5, where we had it last year. Then back on the water on Saturday :D .
