Ottertail this weekend?

Post by Jeff G »

So far it looks like a repeat of a few weekends ago with more wind out west. I'm thinking about another Ottertail trip. Does anybody know of if there's a nice campground in the area that doesn't have too many RVs?

Yeah I think I'd agree. Looks like the most certain wind. Tomorrow especially looks really good. Not sure now if it will make it east enough for Mille.

A bit too far of a trek for me this weekend but if you can I'd say it would be the best call.

JEFF, I looked at the DNR lakefinder website. They showed some nice campgrounds in the area. Good Luck! I'm betting on Milly for Sunday. JN

I decided not to go, but looking at the current wind I guess that was a mistake. I'm hoping for wind at Milly tomorrow. Gotta give my Freakdog another try. Hope to see you up there.

I'm thinking of heading to Ottertail tomorrow AM for the first time unless wind for Mille looks better tomorrow AM. Where is best place to launch with a south wind?

Larry, I don't know about public launches. The only time I've been there we launched from Ed and Cynthia's yard.
