Adam, Debbie, Chad and I bit on yesterdays forecast and hit the jackpot.
The first photo was taken around 2:00 and as you can see we thought we made a big mistake taking the long drive up. The second photo is only a couple hours later and before sunset Debbie would completely disappear between the wave sets. There were also a handful of local riders along with Terry and his wife. Not sure of Terry’s last name but it was good to see him riding after his accident a couple winters ago. My new 13m Octane was SWEET!!!
So glad the party finally happened. And thanks for the photo documentation. I do hope you took a couple turns for Bill and I. Strange how the Sky Harbor hourly wind reporting shut down yesterday. It made it easier to not look.
What a fantastic afternoon & evening it was!!
Just after sunset the water turned almost black with pure white breakers as far as you could see, wish I had a camera.

Glad a few island crew made it up!! It appears you must have been thinking of me as I was seeing patients, while you exhibited patience! One day I hope not to have patients when it is windy.... Until then, I will be patient. Man I really need to ride!
