Mille Gathering Gigapan Photo

Post by mdh01 »

Attached are a few photos of Malmo park from Saturday, July 11 using a Gigapan panoramic capture device (http://www.gigapan.org). Lot's of hidden treasures to explore in these. The "gigapan" photo is a collection of separate images stitched together to assemble a single large final image with the ability to zoom in to see the detail.

If you were at Malmo beach on Saturday around 11:30, search around and you might find a piece of yourself in these!

THANK YOU, MARK! That was a treat for those of us who didn't make it up there this year. Missed seeing you all, but hope we'll all ride together again soon!

Awesome gigapan! You should do it again with a bunch of people riding.

It might be kinda tough to get fast moving targets though, cause they might show up twice, or sometimes only half. I like the way the stitching shows a person's floating torso, or the same dog multiple times. :)

Great idea Mark. Thanks for the pics.
