Anyone use a frong entry drysuit? Does that get in the way of the harness?

There seem to be more front entries at the lake each season, so I can't imagine the zipper is a problem for most people. I've been using the front entry OR Pyro Pro for a couple of years and the zipper is not an issue. It's a little bulky in the front, but does not get in the way. I usually top it off with a thin Airush vest which helps secure the bag. It also helps to hold the neck open and squat to push out extra air inside the suit. I wear Nitrous harness shorts over the suit which works quite well for me. Nice comfy suit, easy on and off and protects well from cold wind.

I have had no problem with my kokatat suit. I use a impact vest and a waist harness with no problem. It has a little more bulk, but once under way I don't notice it at all.

I just bought a front entry Kokatat. I have a mystic Warior harness. The harness only covers a little bit of the zipper. You can feel a small bump where the zipper is, but is doesn't seem to be a problem.

I have been using the pyro pro front entry and it does not get in the way, it's way easier than my last rear entry, trying to zip it could be challenging at some times. I would never go back to a rear entry.

Gill makes a three-layer, breathable, front-zip drysuit. Its not cheap, but is tough, dry, warm and easy to get in & out of.

Thanks for the tips. I ended up picking up an secondhand Kokatat that is a front entry. It is a medium... So I'll finally have a drysuit that fits! My bare drysuit is a XXL!!!

Btw if anyone needs a XXL drysuit. I'll be putting this up for sale in a bit (it even can manage to fit on a medium guy!)

 FUNNY, BRYCE. U & Scott always struck me as rear-entry kind of guys! Just kidding, but really, how could I resist? Thanks. I can see the appeal though, I have resorted to hooking my leash to the zipper, then to my roof rack
and doing the Tango 'til it zips. I have ripped 2 rashguards in the process. Kind of like self-launching: not fun, but sometimes necessary.
