I am not a hang glider but I know a guy very well that is one. Email me and I will pass along his number to you. He has been doing it for quite a while.

I was an avid pilot from '74-'81. Actually, from '79 to '81 I was on the Canadian team. When we drove to Washington to compete we were actually shot at by some heavy duty nationalistic patriots who thought we were invading their mountain. Very strange and embarassing.
My wife threatened to leave me in '81 if I didn't stop. Fortunately, windsurfing came along and filled my need for windsport. So, I'm still married, but must say I haven't flown since '81.
Be glad to give you any input on it, however.
Doug Johnson, a Duluth sailor, is very experienced and holds a number of records for the area. He'd be another great resource. As to the current posse out there, I'm out of touch.
