Is Calhoun still safe?

Ian and I were on Calhoun on Monday and we didn't fall through but I wonder how safe it is now after all the warm weather. Any opinions? If we go, we'll have our ice picks.

OR, does anyone know of any open water that is doable? I hear there is still lots of ice floating around at Hudson, plus I need a straight south or north wind for there so that's out for today.

I was out on Tuesday with 3-4 others. Ice was hard and fast. Shoreline is getting a little soft but still walk-on.

Ice is never safe, take precautions.

Head down to Clear Lake. They were riding down there last weekend.
