Does anybody knows the conditions at Calhoun for kiting?, Just got back from Cabarete after almost three weeks of windsurfing and Kiting, now I need to get back to the snow....

Pedro I saw 2-3 kites on the south end late yesterday afternoon. Looks like plenty of snow/ crust to hold an edge. Should be fun!

I haven't kited w/ the UPTOWN crew in years. Maybe today! Tried WBL but her fur was patchy at best.

Rizer, que envidia, te vas a London, que bien... hoy no fui a Calhoun, necesito un poco mas de viento, quizas manana o el domingo...te digo Rizer para hacer Kiting en cabarete hay que de verdad tener cojones, el mar esta muy chapeado en esta epoca del ano..

GRACIAS, I MEAN THANKS to Jeff G. & everyone who came out to ride Calhoun yesterday. There was an inch of snow bonded to the ice, just enough to make it enjoyable. It was puffy until evening when it began to build. Forgot what a great spot to ride with the city skyline in the background. Ribs & blues @ Dave's afterward....priceless(not really).
