Tighe,
I was thinking that you could do a weekly "article" on a local rider "interviewing" them about how they do their favorite trick, where/why they like to ride, launch tricks, etc, and supplement with their photo's.
You would have different person each week and below their "article" people could also ask questions/comments, and only that featured person could respond.
You could feature all types of riders, newer and old, different perspectives....People on Lakawa could learn about fellow riders, and you would probably get more readership because people liking reading about self and friends.
Riders could let you know what "topic" they could do in advance, and you could plan out your year. Rider could take responsibility for doing own interview/photo's as well.
I think someone could easily build out on Lakawa site to make article entry easy.
Let me know what you think
Adam
PS My article could be on, "What hospital gowns cover up and what they do not!"

Great idea! Put yourself up on the line. let people know who you really are, what your mission is, etc. I don't think I met you, but I was sad to hear about your condition. It's taken me 2 years to even consider big air jumping. There have been plenty of non-intentional boosts anyway. I have been waiting and practicing in earnest for my big air times, which I hope I am on the cusp of achieving this very season. I was drawn to kiting from watching footage of Chasta in the Alps. To kite like him in the mountains has been my ultimate goal. Deep snow is very forgiving.

I like the idea.
I tried a interview section a few years back, but haven't really updated it.
The biggest concern I have right now is the time it would take. I'm currently working to bring some instructors online to allow me to focus more on other work, and focus more on kids clinics and the site. So at that point it may make more sense.
If someone wanted to assist, that would be great.
Hope you're doing well
I really like the idea.

Gentlemen
I love this idea!
I would even be willing to help get it off the ground(pun intended).
With the help of a more verbal proficient rider the two of us could write up a template questionnaire, and Tighe, or whoever, could just e-mail the questions to the rider of the week and post the response as a thread to which we all know only the rider of the week to respond to.
Just thought i would throw out the idea and my assistance if needed.

Great idea as long as Adam does not advise any new kiters on jumping technique.
