had a fantastic session on turtle today. more than enough wind on a 12m turbo diesel from 0845 to 11am. first session of the year so i was grinning hard all morning. it was fun to see some familiar faces out there as well.
Thanks again mike for realigning my invert. saved me a good 15 minutes of messing around.

Re: Turtle lake
curious about the conditions. Is the snow bonded to the ice? Any bare ice exposed? How much snow depth would you say is there?
thanks

3-4 inches of powder. Carving hard turns brings you down to the ice. Very nice conditions overall. Great for N or N/NW. About 7 inches of ice on the south side of the lake. Thinner out in the middle.
