Snow Reports?

Post by Barry P »

How are snow conditions on the lakes?

Mille Lacs?

Brainerd?

Duluth?

South?

The cities lakes have thin patchy spots, still mostly ice.

Brainerd area has about 5% snow coverage with lots and lots of ice.

The wife just came back from Mille Lacs and said there is almost a foot of snow on the ground. All the ice houses are out and it's driveable.
I don't know how much snow is on the ice though.

Scott,

I think Brian's wife meant a foot of snow on the ground. The lake probably has little to none. We got snow before the lake froze. I'm heading that way now and will let you all know by tomorrow...

Merry Christmas!!

There are huge fields just south of Brainerd off of 371 that must have snow. All we need is permission from land owner to track up.
Locals have a better chance of getting permission......Jason

In need of flight over the white.
