Not that I know of that are public. You have to hike out.

How long is the walk from the public access beach? I don't know if my car can make it onto the ice

It's probably a mile from the beach to the island. Someone should bring a quad and charge for tows! The walk will warm you up though.

Could I just rig up right off the beach and ride over, or should I hike it.
What I really want is to show up, and hitch a ride over with one of you guys in your fancy snow loving vehicles.
