Thanks to the enthusiasm of Brian Schenck of Ozone for the potential of snow kiting & Mille Lacs Lake...May we present to you the first ever kite event on Mille Lacs...The first annual 'Mille Lacs Snowkite Jam'.

Mark your calenders now for January 8th & 9th. We will be promoting this event locally, (Central Minnesota) and invite anybody else that is interested to spread the word as well. This is going to be an informal format of freeride, freestyle and some crossing/timed events due to the enormity of the venue. We will also be inviting the general public to come and spectate, take lessons and/or demo products.

Anybody interested in assisting with this event or becoming involved in any way, please contact jason@boardsportsusa.com

Hey Jason.

It looks like I'm scheduled to work that weekend but I'm gonna try to get it off. Then I could help out in any way possible. It's an event that will happen regardless of wind I assume huh since the Tour only rolls through on a specific weekend? I'll let you know if I can weasel out of work and assist!

Aaron.

oh.. Are you going to the MT fest the first week in Dec?

Rudeboy,

I will definately take you up on your offer for assistance and very much appreciate it. This should be a pretty sick event as long as the pieces come together...I.E. Ice, Snow, Wind. That's allz we are really askin' fer. Three simple things. Ice, Snow...Wind.

Let's get together sometime and start really planning some event rules etc...We need to lay it down, only two months to go.

Peace...Jason
