I know thinking of riding frozen lakes is far from everyone's mind at this point but we need to start thinking about this event. Vojta has handled a great deal of the development in the past and is stepping down this year, so we need volunteers.
What I'd like to do is form a small team that would meet regularly and move this project along. A lot of the connections and legwork has been done for past events, but there still is a great deal to do. If you are interested shoot me a note (tighe at windancing dot com). Let me know the extent, ie. time, that you could commit.

I think this winter kiting is going to go off. The amount of new riders is phenomenal. We are considering alternate event locations, additional events (ex. kitercross), and ways to improve the event for all.

All suggestions are welcome.

I am ready for the snow i am getting ready for the winter
season. I have been talking with skatewave a company localy in
MN, that makes skate parks,sliders etc. . I definatly will be building
a terrian park on swede lake watertown mn. starting at the end of Dec.

Hey Tighe,

Do you have any dates in mind for the Kitefreeze? I'll add the event to the Ozone Snowkite Freeride Tour and we'll help promote it and get the word out on this side of the Rockies.

Let me know what we can do to help support the event. It was one of the original ones and should be kept going.
