Anyone for Mille Lacs Saturday?

Post by Paul_c »

I will be in the Mille Lacs area Saturday. Looks like winds will be N becoming NNW. What's the best location to windsurf those directions - Izaty's? Father Henn? Others?
Anyone else going to be up there? I hope to be on the lake most of the afternoon.
Call me if you're going. I'd love to meet kiters and surfers there.

You could try those. Also, when we were spocking out kiting spots this spring between the intersection and Vineland we saw some spots that would work for windsurfing on N wind. Head up the west side of the lake. There is a road that runs right along the shore up until Rum River. There are a few spots along the way that look like public pullouts.
