Hey Brian, since I'm usually reading YOUR report...... I haven't seen Bellaire that busy in a long time. From 3 to 5pm I rode my 4.5/Goya combo and was in HEAVEN :D Looks like we might get a nice Southerly Friday??

Brian,

I missed yesterday too, and it looked awesome from my window. I go nuts. It is really tough when you can see what your missing. Anyway....

I like to read about what went on at the lakes, when I wasn't there, (vicarious stoke I guess) but less kiters seem to post after a session these days. Maybe it's arthritis in those fingers after kiting. Mine get pretty stiff.

That was my exact thought, well?????

I guess everyone was over at Cedar, Steveb just posted.

Sailed Mille Lacs at Izaty's from 1 - 6 pm with Randy J, Jerry S, Jeff G, and Geoff M. It was good solid 5.2 from 1-4 and 4.7 from 4-6. Could've sailed 4.2 after then but I was too pooped to participate by then. Some nice 4-5 foot swells to jibe and play on and mostly port ramps.

Lotsa Sailors!

Post by Jim N »

Wow, still amazed at the sheer number of sailors who showed for the blow @ Bellaire! Even the crew from Calhoun showed up. Hope to see you guys (& gals) again soon. Did anyone else have probs jibing a skinny board in high winds? I guess I got spoiled with my fat tail on a fat tailed cruiser. Hope we get many more chances to practice!! :? JN
