To The East of Cannon.

Post by jim lehman »

Last Sunday Tighe and myself were checking out additional spots around Cannon in Faribault. We were on the lake just to the East of Cannon. After talking with some local fisherman on Friday, they told me the ice to the East of Cannon is very unsafe. They said the way the current runs through that part of the river makes the ice inconsistent. Have a great weekend.

and we considered driving onto the ice.... good thing we didn't. Thanks for the info.

How was it today? The NW side of the lake should have still had snow.

It was good, we were on the East side of the lake. The winds died down around 3pm. We need a couple more inches of snow, the ice is starting to dominate the lake. There is still enough to hold an edge. We more damn snow!! :x
