ABK Board Sports Windsurfing Camp in Kenosha

Post by aver0031 »

anyone wants to go to ABK Board Sports Windsurfing Camp in Kenosha, WI on Sep 17 - 19. It is only 6 hr from here.
Their website is http://www.abkboardsports.com/schedule_ ... =14&sId=91
I am thinking about registering for that and would appreciate local friend there.
If anyone has previous experience with ABK Camps or sailing Lake Andreas in Kenosha please comment.

Thank you very much,
Genna

Pete L. & I attended one in Madison 3 yrs ago. They put on a great clinic, but we got burned by lack of wind. I wish that they had given us a rain check , or credit towards a future session instead of holding it in light off-shore conditions. Nevertheless, they are very professional,& have everything broken down to small sequensial steps, which really helps to dissect and analyze what leads to a successful move. They also give a booklet outlining the moves, which has become my windsurf bible. Besides that, Andy and crew are a great bunch, and fun to hang with regardless. Caveat: I'd make triple sure in advance that the weather won't become a negative in getting your $'s worth. JN
