Hi i'm Drew
I'm new to kiteing... one day i went to vist my cousin Vojta Cervenka. He brought out a kite and i thought that it was just a dinky little thing, did he prove me wrong, i think i got drug 11 feet my 1st time luckly he was right behind me. He gave me alot of lessons about how to fly, loop, jumping at the right time to get hight, ect... He also told me to say that i am a 15 year old, strong atlethic wrestler, loves water sports, and very active. Does any one have any pointers on what i should wear on land/water, what kind of boards/skis for water sking, what kinds of land skis ect.. THANKS!!
My cousin Vojta Gave me lessons on kiting!! Any suggestions?

Hey Drew.
Sounds like you learned from one of the best kiters around here, so mastering the sport should be no problem for you. Speaking from personal experience, there are 3 main types of board I use. For the snow I use a regular snowboard (a Burton Motion), for land, I use a MB5 SOL mountain boad, and for the water I use a 2002 Naish TT 159. And don't forget to learn as much on safety as possible. It will save you from a lot of painful and expensive experiences.
Then, depending on your level, I would say that you should start on a big floaty board in the water. I started on a 168 Twin Tip board and that worked wonders for me. On the snow or land, it doesn't really matter. You can monitor the chat and see where everyone is heading. Then you can hang out with the gang and get an earful on equipment.
Hope that helps.
