Tomorrow actually looks like a solid afternoon bet on the big lake... Game on?

JP, want to go up and do a photo sesh? We should get some kiters up the north shore to hit some of the wave spots. It won't be a huge day, but could be a great preliminary scouting session.

Would there be a car pool going up to Duluth?

If the fam damily stays down in Madison and it happens on Saturday I'm on it!!!! It looks good for potentially 15 knots at Park Point based upon the Experimental, Open Lake & MRF..... Wait, watch & see.

I may be up for an early trip on Saturday. It is looking like one of those rare Duluth or nothing days.

Superior wind machine seems to be turning on this moring:

9 AM (13) May 21 44 (7) 42 (6) 30.15 (1020) NE 17
8 AM (12) May 21 44 (7) 44 (7) 30.18 (1022) ENE 16
7 AM (11) May 21 46 (8) 42 (6) 30.16 (1021) ENE 17
6 AM (10) May 21 46 (8) 44 (7) 30.16 (1021) NE 16
5 AM (9) May 21 46 (8) 44 (7) 30.17 (1021) NE 15

Tomorrow's experimental is showing 20 knots but the near shore is calling NE 10-15 knots...... I hope the near shore is WRONG :D

It's next to impossible to figure out what Superior will do. Some forecasts right now are calling for 5-6M winds from now right through to Tuesday. All we know is the 9:45am reading has built from 17 NE to 20 ENE, putting it into the 'let's load up the Polar Bear drysuits and drive'....
Ryan and I are heading up this morning, fingers crossed, prepared to spend the night, since several forecasts look promising. Hopefully we can get some wind/wave action and a good posse to share it with.
Ride...just be it!

Coach - I'd love to go up on Sat; but I've got to work.. @#@$@!! If something happens on Sunday, though, I'd most likely be in.

If you all go, have a great time on Sunday.

I made the mistake of not going Friday... Saturday looks like the call, but I have to go to a friggin' wedding! Ugh!

Tomorrow looks monsterous, but the storms should be, too. The forecast for tomorrow that comes out later today should hopefully let us know if there will be a window sometime Sunday when the storms aren't biting.

Hey Now,

check under your pillow.

I can't make it this weekend = I won't get worked this weekend

Shoot, I have to get ready to a trip to Chicago. Duluth sounds like the place to sail or watch. I'll try to take some pics of Lake Michigan when I'm down there. Have fun, brave souls, at PP. It should rock!
