Eagle Lake, on Tues was good!! How was Cannon?

Post by Quetzalcoatl »

Tues, (Yesterday, Sept. 11th) was pretty good for sailing!

Chad, (owner of SxS go fast in Mankato) and I (Eric Quetzalcoatl) sailed from the North Launch site
on Eagle Lake. Chad on a Severn red board (vol. 120), also was on something smaller too, and Zeta 5.5 sail.

Yo (I) on Bic Techo 125li. and later Fanatic 142 Shark and Ezzy 6.3 Tiger (the one Scott graciously sold me).

Yeah,,fired up all day! Some gusts were kind of scrurrrily, but hey,,there was wind and water and I have no complaints?

Please, some details from the Lake Cannon Crew? (I hear around four sailors there,,,or more)?

Any sailors on other lakes yesterday?

Quetzalcoatl out. PS: It's still summer! The Fall has not even begun. Three more months of Sailing to do.

There were a few windsurfers and kitesurfers on White Bear Lake too. I arrived after 5 pm and sailed fully powered on 92 l JP FSW and 7.5 m2 Gaastra. After about an hour the wind slowed down, so I switched to 105 l Starboard HyperSonic and 9.0 m2 Naish Noa and sailed fully powered till dark.

So nice still without a wetsuit. Also the wind was super stable. A couple of my friends were learning to windsurf. Good time with friends around.
