SwitchBlade Session Rocked Today...It ain't over

Post by Boardsports USA »

Man we scored a killer session today up in Crosslake on Todd Hanson's SwitchBlade.

I didn't know what to think...Is it the middle of January or July? That 6' high spray I was throwing all over today with the SwitchBlade was somewhat of a delusional cross between liquid, snow and ice. It was one of my sickest sessions all year. Couldn't have been accomplished on any other device that you ride sideways in these conditions. If you haven't tried one of these things, I feel sorry for you. Seriously, I'm not trying to be a salesman here or arrogant in any way whatsoever. (Not my style) If you want to extend your riding season in the Fall and Spring for the ice, do yourself a favor and call Todd Hanson. He has like 10 SwitchBlade boards ready to ride. Just insert Pilot. Flow bindings on all of them just make them even more inviting. You have nothing to lose. I think he demos them for FREE. Am I right Todd or are you gonna start charging? Cause if you aren't, well you should. All of those stupid rides at ValleyFair cost an arm and a leg and they aren't even half as fun as edging 30-40 mph over ice hucking a 360 and setting er back down on that sweet edge.

Oh yea- My boys both tried them today also on a mini board that Todd mounted for them with pretty good success (thanks Todd they are stoked about that thing being on there board). That's right folks children kiteboarding on ice.

Thanks Todd! Look forward to many more rides with you and the SwitchBlade. 8)

Jason

PS- Steve B. & Chris H. I should have called you guys before we left for Todd's. It was really spur of the moment with the rain forecast etc... We will hook up later...eh? Sunday could be good? Give me a call 218.838.0792

I've got to say Todd, you've come up with a good thing. I had to take some time or take more time to get the hang of the Switchblade but it sure does the trick on the Ice.

Thanks for letting me ride the Kite and That board Jason! FUN day.

Later all,
Holmes

Haven't ridden this thing yet but it seems like quite the ticket for the early season and end of season, and if the winters continue like the last few, for most of the season. A great way to ensure you get the most out of the winter months.

Todd, I want to try it!
