Summer wind is typically "light air" in the Midwest. "So: just show up at the launch site with beginner gear and
advanced high wind gear (in case of a miracle wind bowing in). If you're at the launch site or beach site, just being there
ready to get in the water with beginners with that beginner gear or ready to ride that rogue breeze that might come, you'll
feel better. We have SO many days of "warm"weather and light wind in the summer to teach many "newbies." Let's do this!
Remember: the beginner gear is for teaching "adult women" not the boys nor the men. They are more likely to break your gear.
Let the adult women eventually buy their own gear to teach their significant others and children how to windsurf.
This is what I believe and Quetzalcoatl (God of wind and wisdom) approves this message.
My name in Mayan is Kulkulkan. In Nahautl or Aztec it's Quetzalcoatl, in Mayan it's Kulkulkan...(same cool dude).
Windsurf man out.
