Breaking News: Free Windsurfing Lessons for Women at a lake near you!

Yes really folks: I'm serious.... we need more women involved in the sport of Winsurfing.

Muscle strength has nothing do do with windsurfing when you use the right gear and learn to use the harness.

The best Minnesota windsurfer I ever saw...is a woman,,named Diane. I saw her doing six foot jumps off flat water

in 35 mph wind in the Laguna Madre (South Padre Island in November of 2015.

So, when there's not much wind...then go ahead and offer "Free" windsurf lessons to Adult women only.

Some days, offer a "Gentleman's" day of free lessons. But the emphasis is to get more women into the sport.

Also be sure to teach on wide (long) boards. Not the stubby Startboard 255cm. The Starboard Start (2000-2001) length of 280cm is the very best, or Bic 293cm long, 79 cm wide) or Bic 290cm (92cm wide) are also very good.

Let's do this! The women will be more careful with your gear. Stress adult women, (must be at least 18 years or older).
Let parents teach their own children or their teenagers.

Windsurf Man out.
