Lake Calhoun or Lake Waconia.or Better "Clear Lake, IA?"

Post by Quetzalcoatl »

Lake Calhoun or Lake Waconia might be the best options to avoid "Raindrops keep falling on my head."

Most other lakes will involve cold rain or cold showers. Wind supposed to be blowing in at best at 13 mph from NE.

It'll be a Jumbo Sail day! Likely need to use a formula board too! This Sat. March 25th.

The forecast is like to change too before then.

Air temp. is predicted to be a balmy 49 degrees at Waconia and Calhoun. Opps...now Clear Lake is looking at 19 mph with higher NE gusts on Sat. at
2:00 pm...but air temp at 40 degrees.....always in a state of "change."

Remember we who are the "Day workers" (Mon. through Friday) can only get at best (if both Sat. and Sun. are sailabale) 26.8% of any given week for sailing.

If ya gotta a Dry-suit, then go and get out there and "Harvest the wind!" Don't be part of the "0" percent.

Quetzalcoatl out.
