The ice was much smoother than previous weekend. Withe the warm temperatures, the ice was super fast. Wind was way too much. My smallest sail tightened board flat was still way overpowered. Really needed about a 2.5 or 3.0 for today. But it still put a smile on my face.

Hope to be able to use the freeskate on Calhoun today! was out on the Snowfer on Calhoun on Sunday and the ice was still nice and hard! nothing like sailing on ice in the warm 60-something temps!

Sailed on the semi-rough ice of Calhoun 13 times in February WOOHOOO! Most days were on the Snowfer but some, including last night, were on the Freeskate. Hoping ice conditions don't deteriorate from here with the coming thaw... hoping for a smooth re-freeze!

Hey Chum, do you think some ice skates would work? Been on Lake Independence out west and found a few smooth patches but the bumpy stuff makes me check my fillings after each run
