Happy New Year to all wind boarders!
Nice today (warm) and sunny air temps. around 30. Not much wind today. Of course on the ice you don't want too much either.
On ice there's almost no friction to deal with. SO: an iceboat (like a DN or Nite) or a winter kiteboard can go four times the speed of the wind.(this fact came from the Britannica Encylopedia). On pure snow it's more like water resistence or there may be even more resistence to your board then when on liquid water. But I don't know. Any winter kiteboarder out there who could clarify this?
Anyway,,,,I haven't bought a windsurf board in at least 6 months. Hey, if you got any (for sale)..put some boards up on the classified section.
The "Boarder Hoarder" out. (a member of "Hoarders without Borders").....this means there's are no limits nor borders to what a "boarder hoarder" can hoard".
The Boarder Hoarder hasn't bought a board in 6 months.....

Hey Quetzy!
Did you look at my gear list - posted a couple months ago? A couple of true classics are available! Plus lots of other gear - package deal available? Of course!
Also - about that Bare dry suit - it is an XL - FYI

I think my Techno 148 will be for sale or possibly trade for a 115-125L board.

Mmm....I might have a board to trade ya for it....but my Bodega (windsurf wearhouse) has the door frozen shut.Schmidty721 wrote:I think my Techno 148 will be for sale or possibly trade for a 115-125L board.
I might have to wait for a mid January thaw to get to it.
I've got in my mind a 125 liter "Swiss made" AHD board. either for sale or trade (a true board swap).
It's a bit longer at 287cms. But a little skinnier too at 60 cms.
It's light as a feather at around 17 lbs. It used to have a bag. I might get that back too from a good sailor friend.
Eric out.
