Terrain snowkiting Eastern South Dakota

Post by Matt V »

Just by looking at the snowcover maps, I may postpone heading west to Skyline in Utah for the chance to ride at Mazeppa/Myers Lake Just about 30 minutes away from Watertown, SD. The terrain there is epic with a snakey winding valley with massive cornices presented at multiple directions. The lake should be good and frozen solid now too, but you do not have to cross it to get to the good terrain. A farmer I know up at Clear lake has confirmed they got about 10" last weekend so it should be set up into a nice base already. This next storm could make conditions epic.

Still torn betwix Skyline and SD
