Calhoun 1/23/16

Did a drive-by of Calhoun and it looks like a good day to ride. Forecast is solid 10-15 all day. Headed over this afternoon.

How'd your session go Adam? Did the ice appear safe across the entire lake? Is there much for snow cover or is it a patchwork of snow & ice? Please provide details, I'm anxious to start snowkiting on Calhoun again.

Rode Calhoun Sat evening and it was pretty good..
there are patches of ice (especially in the middle)
but also areas with nice soft snow (in particular the west side) which are fun to ride
and to jump on

Calhoun is in very nice shape. A little glare ice here and there.

Did 28 miles in 1:45 and 39 mph max.
