Last Saturday on Wac.

I was able to sneak in a short session on Saturday afternoon! Andy and I went out of the south beach while
Gary came out from that bike path launch. Looking forward to seeing more of the gang at Wac. soon!!!!!

wind is blowing again from the western sectors,
thinking wak around 5pm today..any takers?
I know it is wet and cold, but so is the lake, anyway

so get to the Wak around 4..
wind is minimal, parking lot is empty,
but there is a ray of sunshine filtering through the clouds.. you can smell the spring
so I say I'll just sit on the shore 5 min and enjoy the timid sun after all the rain...

well as i am sitting there I see patches of wind out there, so I say, well I'll pump the kite.. just in case..
I pump the kite.. still no flyable wind..but whatever.. since I am here, I'll just put the drysuit on..
drysuit on, still no much wind..hey, what the heck, since I have the drysuit on let me try the water..
go out a bit (water level is high) stand there with the kite in the water for 20 mins or so.. just as i am ready to go back in..
a magical puff comes, kite is in the air.. and vuala'.. I am cruising back and forth

hey short session, but unexpected.. that made it more fun..
first time on my rally 14 on the water.. very pleased with it, had me going (and staying upwind) with 10 knots or so!
