Had 1.25 hrs on the water. Got settled in after a tack or two and then it was all zen. Sort of different when are solo. Sounded like freight trains mist of the time, and there were gusts to 40 for sure, but it was all sort of slow motion. Some crazy elevator jumps of what? 35-40'? At least. Waves mellowed out and made some nice troughs. Mmmmmmmmm.

Sun even came out, and then it really started blowing.

Came in and realized my face was beat red from the effort, so maybe I was working hard. Looking forward to more of that.

P.s. Was coaching myself, and snuck away just long enough to squeeze in between the deluges. Awesome when that happens and you've kind if put faith that it will all be worth it.

It's great that you were able to sneak a sesh in between the rain!
In those early afternoon hours conditions really looked epic..
I was also hoping to make it out there but
at the end was not able to.. which size were you flying?
