Has anyone kited on golf courses? Some of them appear to have some open areas and fewer trees with some nice hills, etc. I checked with a private course and they didn't like the idea of kiters, but maybe other municipal courses wouldn't mind???
(Yes, snow would help too)

Re: Kiting on golf courses?
Snowkiters lottery pact:
If one of us wins the lottery, we either buy a run down golf course with good wind exposure or build one from scratch. I have a chainsaw and will volunteer my time if the former route comes to fruition.
Hey, dreamin if free! - or not much more than a dollar.

I've pondered purchasing something like that wishfully and even did some research. There's a course for sale in Howard Lake for $500K. If we could gather up a few thousand per kiter we'd be in biz! This one's a little flat and far away though. Hmmmm.
