Checked North Long @ 4 pm today and it had about two and a half to three inches of ice. I walked all over with the ice chisel and it took 3 hard shots to go through everywhere. Tonight is supposed to be sub 0 which should add another half to 1 inch

If the forecast holds, ( S15 plus, sunny and 28) it could be epic.

SAW ALOT OF BEAUTIFUL, MIRROR SMOOTH ICE, UP & BACK FROM BIG PINE TODAY. Even though I had upped her insurance, Pam was unwilling to test the ice for me, despite my offer of plenty of hot cocoa afterwards. :roll:

Fun times were had......the SwitchBlades and other blades were carving up the smooooth ice.....post some pics KiteBoy... :)
