Medicine Lake - Anyone kited from the North locations?

Hey, was looking at the google maps inserts provided on the Lakawa sites location and noticed that the boat launch and french beach were listed as possible kite launch locations for Medicine Lake. Was wondering if anyone in the kiting community has tried these locations and can give some insight? I'm literally 10 min drive from the office ... desperately want to hit Wac today but it's not an option ... looking for a meeting in-betweener w/ Medi.

Kited there yesterday with my buddy Ryan. Had a great session. Wind set up perfectly coming down the lake. not many people there with the beach being closed, so pretty easy launch/land. Have to work today, but Ryan said he might be out there again today.
Nice and shallow too and not much weed action if you can stay upwind.

swung by at lunch - 1 Best kite in the air. looked a bit shadowed but not bad. launch and just past the bouys to the east looked to be the zone. Heading there after work and hoping the wind stays
